SEPTEMBER PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

As the summer winds down, I hope everyone has had a good summer as we all look forward to the fall with cooler temperatures hopefully.

Of course, the most important news is the upcoming paving project. September 12th is still the scheduled start date, weather and mother nature permitting. Please review the information that has been handed out and emailed to you. If you have any concerns, now is the time to contact me so we can make sure there are no issues that week. If you need to park your car off the property or you have people coming to your house on the day your area will be paved, please use the area on the north side between the hedges and Flavor Pict. Please do not stop your car at the western end, pull all the way up in order to allow as many cars as possible. You can also park on the east side of Military Trail in the lot south of CVS. REMEMBER, any damage to the roads by the residents not following directions is your financial responsibility. ONLY, emergency vehicles are allowed to drive on freshly paved roads before they are open. We will have a towing company on standby to tow any cars that are inhibiting the progress of the paving company.

Once again, a reminder that now that hurricane season is here, please take the time to take a look at your trees and if necessary, make arrangements to have them cut back properly for everyone’s protection. There are too many trees in the community that need immediate attention. Remember, if a tree damages your house or your neighbor’s, it is your responsibility.

There are still quite a few residents who are not receiving Alerts from Hampton Lakes. It is important to keep your information up to date in case of an emergency.

Warm Regards,
Jo
