Happy Fall to everyone. Hopefully, the temperatures will dissipate and we won’t have anymore “storm scares.”

The paving project is complete with the exception of some tweaking, the thermographic painting at the front entrance and the speed bumps. I expect all of this to be complete by the end of October, weather permitting. I want to thank the owners for their patience and cooperation. With the exception of a few, everyone paid attention and followed directions. Regarding the speed bumps, they will not be as high and a bit longer.

The universal code at the gate is being disconnected effective October 6th. This is being done for safety reasons due to excessive soliciting and an exceptional amount of traffic throughout the day and night that should not be in the community. If you need a gate clicker, please contact Bill Winterhalter. They are $50 and the check should be made out to Hampton Lakes Homeowners Association. If you do not want to purchase a clicker, you will have to call yourself from the gate. For those of you who have given the code to your cleaning person an aide or friends and family, please review the gate system with them.

Campbell Property Management has rolled out the web page. If you did not receive the introductory letter from them, please contact me. It probably means they have the wrong email for you. The site is user friendly and they are more than willing to assist anyone who might be having issues with it.

To all the cigarette smokers in our community, PLEASE dispose of the cigarette butts properly. There are too many laying around and it is unsightly and disrespectful.

There are still quite a few residents who are not receiving Alerts from Hampton Lakes. It is important to keep your information up to date in case of an emergency.

Warm Regards,
